April 15, 2011 - The Center for Hearing and Communication (CHC) is excited to announce the launch of three innovative programs for people of all ages with hearing loss as well as children with APD and other listening challenges. The programs are conducted by CHC clinicians and available at our New York office.
Sounds FUN! is a new program for kids who have listening, learning and auditory challenges. Working in small groups, kids ages 4 to 7 can improve their listening skills while having a whole lot of fun. The first session begins mid-May. Learn more
Communicating Better with a Hearing Loss is a short course designed to help people with hearing loss communicate better in challenging listening environments. It's for everyone who struggles to communicate in noisy restaurants, business meetings or in the classroom. Sessions begin May 4. Learn more Therapeutic Support Group for Hard of Hearing LGBT People addresses the communication and emotional needs of people with hearing loss. The group meets on Wednesdays and preregistration is a must. Learn more
