The Center for Hearing and Communication (CHC) applauds the hundreds of organizations around the world commemorating International Noise Awareness Day! Diverse activities are planned in more than 40 countries - all with the purpose of creating awareness of the dangers of noise and its impact on hearing, health and quality of life.
CHC founded International Noise Awareness Day 15 years ago, and we're thrilled to see this educational platform embraced with such passion by schools, government agencies, corporations and individuals around the globe. We are pleased to be offering free hearing screenings today in Union Square, NYC from 10a to 4p.
