McKenna Reed, M.A., RBT Cert., is a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education Specialist, dedicated to providing individualized intervention and educational support to children with hearing loss. She earned her B.A. in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from San Diego State University and her M.A. in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. She takes a communication-focused approach, tailoring services to each child’s language, communication, and educational needs. Her school- and clinic-based support includes spoken English, ASL, and literacy development. Her background as a Registered Behavior Technician also allows her to incorporate behavior management strategies when supporting children who are deaf plus.
