My name is Carla Hermosilla. I started working for CHC in Florida in 2022 as a role working Case Manager. I completed the A.S General Professional Studies back in Paramus, NJ, in 2015. I’ve provided service support for adults who are Deaf, Hard Hearing and parents of Deaf children.
I have also worked with Hispanic Deaf clients who have moved to other countries, guiding them, and putting to use my first language being Spanish. I am proud to be given the opportunity to support our Deaf community and be part of their positive guidance, motivation and finding all kinds of ways to assist them. In addition, I enjoy art and expressing myself creatively when I can, I have also taught painting classes for Deaf Adults to allow them to express themselves creatively, build independence, develop skills, and receive support in a positive environment.
