For 35 years, CHC has been holding a fully accessible Comedy Night. It began when a small group of people who had hearing loss got together and decided they wanted to be able to enjoy a night of stand-up comedy, without missing one punchline. With that, Comedy Night was born! Every year since then, CHC offers a night of laughs that is interpreted and captioned, with assistive listening devices made available.

Last year marked CHC’s first-ever virtual Comedy Night, complete with ASL interpreters and captioning. People from all around the country had a few good laughs, something so needed then, and still now. This year, we will be holding a virtual Comedy Night again, as we still cannot gather together in person. Please join us on March 18; tickets are free and all are welcome.

Join Us in Honoring CHC Clinicians

This year’s Comedy Night will honor CHC’s clinicians, our audiologists, speech-language pathologists, and mental health counselors who, for years, have provided life-changing services. This past year, they worked tirelessly to ensure that even while their services to you could not be provided in person, they were able to connect with you and hopefully provide you with the care that you needed. I know I am so grateful to them all and hope that you are too. If you would like to help honor your clinician convey a message of support to CHC, our Virtual Journal is a great opportunity to do so. You can offer your appreciation, share achievements, or even just say, “Hi. I hope we can see each other in person soon.”
